I’ve always felt a little out of place in those mega-churches where everything is perfectly polished, everyone smells like expensive cologne, and the sermons are clean and predictable. I was reading John 9 today, and it made me smile so big. Jesus wants to heal a man born blind. But He doesn't just lay hands on him politely. It’s the Sabbath—the day the Pharisees had strict rules against kneading clay. So what does Jesus do? He literally spits into the dirt, mixes up a muddy paste with His hands, and smears it directly onto the blind man's eyeballs. Jesus deliberately used spit and dirt to break their stupid religious rules while performing a miracle. He offended the religious elite to show that His messy grace is so much more powerful than their clean, sterile religion. We serve a blue-collar King. #BlueCollarFaith #John9 #MessyGrace #RealJesus #ChurchCulture
